Join us for an enlightening session at our upcoming CKAN Monthly Live, where we'll explore a new initiative that promises to enhance the capabilities and reach of CKAN, the leading open-source data management platform. This initiative, funded directly by Steven De Costa, Link Digital's Founder and Executive Director, is a strategic response to the growing demand for advanced data management and cataloging solutions across government, non-profit sectors, and enterprises.

Project overview

In April this year, Ian Ward and Adrià Mercader both moved into roles with one of CKAN’s co-stewards, Link Digital, to work more solidly on CKAN capabilities throughout 2024 and into 2025. They join with other funded contributors such as Sergey Motornyuk, Alex Gostev, Brett Jones and Dragan Avramovic (Datopian) who have all been working as dedicated contributors within the project for some time. We are excited to feature insights from Paul Walsh, CTO at Link Digital, who has been working with Ian, Adrià and others to coordinate some initial areas of focus for CKAN innovations.

Community alignment and activities

With various community activities surrounding CKAN being staged and made ready for motion, the time for alignment across many community contributors is now. This special edition of CKAN Monthly Live is your opportunity to get an overview from the folks involved in one particular hub of activity. It is a great opportunity to assess where your own passion for CKAN can join in with the effort to innovate and contribute to CKAN for great success in 2024.
