Join us for a special CKAN Monthly Live event as we delve into the trenches of the open data movement in Africa, uncovering the power of collaboration, the impact of data liberation, and the crucial role of CKAN in driving this transformation.

We're thrilled to invite you to an engaging discussion about openAFRICA, the largest independent open data repository on the African continent. Powered by CKAN, this impressive platform is much more than a static data collection. It's a vibrant, growing network maintained by Code for Africa, an innovative grassroots initiative liberating hard-to-access data with the help of organizations, volunteers, and activists.

The webinar promises to be an enlightening deep dive into the core of the open data movement in Africa. We will be joined by Emma Kisa, Data Analyst and openAFRICA Lead. With 13 years of experience in media and communication, Emma brings a wealth of knowledge and insights to the table.

💡 Join this webinar to discover how CKAN facilitates the democratization of data across Africa. Not only will you learn how to tap into the wealth of information available on openAFRICA and get hard-to-find data, but you'll also gain insights into how you can contribute to this open data movement.
