Since April, our Product Manager Alexander Gostev has been working hard to get input from various stakeholders on what they would like to see in the upcoming #CKAN 3.0. As we wrap up the engagement process, we'll share the interviews with the community. Below are 5/37 interviews, and we invite everyone to join the discussion and share your comments. We are sharing with you the results of the quick Product Market Fit survey about CKAN that we launched last month! The survey will be a regular one to track how valuable CKAN is after each major update and after expanding the reach with new users. Our intention is to get a better idea of what worked well and what could be improved.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed developer who would like to join the CKAN 3.0 team and help us steer the CKAN project toward an awesome 3.0 release! The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about software development, open source and has professional experience with Python.
We are excited to announce that a new CKAN 3.0 taskforce has been formed, with the addition of two team members from Datopian - Dragan and Svetozar. Both Dragan and Svetozar are highly skilled backend/CKAN developers and have joined CKAN Project on a long-term basis. They will work closely with the technical lead, Anuar, and product owner, Alex Gostev, to form the CKAN 3.0 team.
