Welcome to CKAN Monthly Newsletter #3! Among the highlights, CKAN 3.0 Taskforce (a dedicated team that will work on CKAN 3.0) has been formed! The team starts with researching adding a capability to be working with graph databases to cover the gap we have for EU clients. Read on!

Learn about their research, proposed solutions, and the inspiration drawn from a Taiwanese project that successfully implemented triplestores.
We are excited to announce that a new CKAN 3.0 taskforce has been formed, with the addition of two team members from Datopian - Dragan and Svetozar. Both Dragan and Svetozar are highly skilled backend/CKAN developers and have joined CKAN Project on a long-term basis. They will work closely with the technical lead, Anuar, and product owner, Alex Gostev, to form the CKAN 3.0 team.

We're launching a new initiative called "Ask CKAN". Starting this month, we will be running a social media campaign that will ask users to submit their questions to us via Twitter, LinkedIn, or a specially designed form.
The University of Pittsburgh and datHere are collaborating to strengthen the CKAN ecosystem with support from the U.S. National Science Foundation’s POSE program. The team is conducting interviews with different members of the ecosystem and has created a list of questions to answer. Check out how you can get involved in the ecosystem discovery work.
